I did some searching and found through ADAA, an in person support group. Has anyone tried this type of support? Any input would be great! I’m needing many tools this depression relapse. I go to therapy once a month. Currently working w psychiatrist on medication adjustment to get me out of this depression. Also getting a lot of support from family and friends.
Many thanks!

Hi, so glad you are seeking help. Are you talking about group therapy? I have done it several times in my life, it was scary the first time, but once I got comfortable I took full advantage of it, in it for a year. I have been in other groups, and even lead a group. So by all means Go. I hope your psychiatrist is getting your med's sorted out, I take them and have for decades, they are my life line to sanity, plus therapy, and reading good self help books.
I was so glad to read you have support in family and friends. I send you confidence, strength, faith in self, love and big hugs.....Sprinkle 1.....
Thank you! I was talking about an Anxiety and Depression support group. I’m thinking it’s similar to 12 step recovery meetings. I’m going to try one just to see! I hope me meds get sorted out too...it’s been a doozie. And may get worse before it gets better. Ugh. Thank you for the reply 🙂
Sounds like a good group for you to be in. I wish you well,, keep thinking positive thoughts, let us know how you do and if we can be of further help....Sprinkle 1....
.p.s. enclosing, strength, courage, peace of mind, love and Big hugs.......
