Sometimes it feels like I’m just complaining or whining but it always feels better to write it out. Then the bonus of getting support from people who can relate is simply amazing!

hi boomba how have things been for you over the last couple of days.
Well... Last night was the first night away from my home and it was pretty tough but not unbearable. I am kind of dreading this evening but I am really leaning on the lord to help me through this.
Listening to Joyce Meyers has been my saving grace. Her messages and her personality really put me at ease.
My heart is hurting for my wife but I’m trying to only focus on the moment. One small moment at a time.

This group has also been an amazing support and has really helped me in some of my darkest times!

Yes I agree talking on hear has helped me through a tough time, 9 weeks on fluoxetine and just starting to feel slightly better, when someone replies it’s a bonus, and I always write back and thank the person, because talking on hear really helps people like me.
Yes, I use this site to help ease some of my own suffering but I also try to help at least 1 person everyday to ease their suffering.
Oh that’s lovely, I am 77 and had this terrible depression after several health issues, and coming on hear has been a life saviour for me.

Ok no worries. But only if I thank everyone who posts a problem looking for help and support. Because some days having to think about others' problems instead of my own for an hour or two while I try to think of some replies that might support someone else through a bad patch the way others do for me - that's one of maybe two parts of the day if I'm lucky that I'm distracted enough from what I was worrying about to forget about it briefly. Those bad days that helps me immensely.
