Ah yes...don't we all at certain times. It's usually not as bad as we think or believe. It's okay to feel this way - just talk to your kid - they will tell you :)

As parents that is always a question for my husband and I. I was depressed for a majority of their childhood. There was a lot of guilt and shame that built up in me. But over the years and now being depression free for over ten years I was able to show them that perseverance is possible. It was my faith in Jesus that healed me and this to helped them to see that all things are possible through Him. You are not failing them. Keep fighting and working on getting to a healthy state. They will see the determination and someday mimic it when times get rough. Praying for you.

My children are now grown. I often felt like that when they were growing up. But I loved them unconditionally, supported them when I could and did my best. I think every parent feels like they are failing their child at times. Those of us with anxiety and depression feel it more often. And we feel guilty because of our mental health. Long story short, my children turned out to be caring adults who are on their own. One is a firefighter the other is a nurse. Just do the best you can. I'm sure you're doing a great job. HUGS and BLESSINGS!

Hey there Mama! Gosh, you are speaking to the choir! I think that at some point in ALL of our parenting journey we feel like we are failing our children! The truth is, we are all imperect and there is NO such thing as a perfect parent. We will fail our children and let them down- just how things go. How we respond when it happens says more about us as people and as parents. Do the best you can, pray a lot and leave the rest to God. I urge you to find a mom group or schedule play dates with friends. Having people to talk to always helps. I will be praying for you!! Hugs
