Anxiety and panic attacks share many of the same symptoms (e.g. heart palpitations, trembling, sweating, tingling, fear and distress) but panic attacks have distinct symptoms (e.g. fear of dying or losing control and derealization of detachment from the real world). "Anxiety attacks" aren't in the DSM-5 but rather is classified as simply anxiety disorder. The DSM does recognize panic attacks. Hope this helps friend.
