Yes I agree with your saying, when I was about 16 I made up my mind fear was not going to rule my life and it has not, do not think I have not had some real frightening times but I lived thru them. President Roosevelt said "The only thing to fear is fear". That is a good one.

Definitely! A lot of people get the wrong idea of recovering and think the goal is to avoid having one which is impossible. The only way to take that power back is face it head on, but do it the right way, but the key is knowing how to do it the right way by learning acceptance.

Yes I agree with you, and so many of us are not taught how to deal with this issue. I know I was not, other than I was adamant I would not let it run my life. So it is good people like yourself put these quotes out there, hoping they will learn and save themselves so much pain. Keep it coming NikeYrk, I will side with you.
