Hi, what do you do to try to make yourself feel better? Or at least distract yourself

I honestly don’t know at this point

Try hobbies pal. Maybe use physical activity as an outlet. I run sometimes because it makes me feel better. Exercise boosts mood.

What about lack of motivation to do anything .

Therapy would help. I use logic because that helps me understand. For example when I don't feel like running or even showering at times I tell my self I could either not do it and feel the same or I could try it and hope for a shift in mood. I could lay in bed and not shower or I can take a shower and at least now I am clean and smell good.

That’s how I been feeling lately . I usually keep my room cleaned etc I’m just letting it go . I just found out about mental health last March found out I had anxiety and ocd . Really the big thing is me being bi polar and having split personality disorder

Needing help with mental health is just as important as physical health. When these mental health issues get in the way of your life and happiness its important to put aside whatever is deterring you idk like pride or embarrassment even lack of motivation and do get help for yourself and your future this could get worse so I strongly advice you try a therapist or at least speak to your doctor they also will help. Therapy may have stigma but skepticism is natural give it a try and I am here to listen to you when you have concerns or question. Lots of luck

I’m letting my talent go to waste. I write music and I’m very good but I just can’t do it

sometimes you just have to fight and try forcing yourself to do something even if you don't want to. getting fresh air is great for boosting moods. I recommend going outside if possible. sometimes something as simple as that is worth giving yourself a pat on your back for. have you tried journaling? people think it sounds dumb sometimes but it is a great outlet if you don't feel like talking to people. I am rooting for you.

See I can talk to people but within the first 30 seconds I don’t want to anymore

It sounds to me that from all your symptoms you are suffering with severe depression. It takes away all motivation Larry I have been there. Please Go and see a doctor. I had to have medication for depression in the end. It will help you. It’s not fair or right that you should suffer like this. There is hope. Please see someone who can help. Wishing you the best
