Zoloft all Symptoms

Hey everyone,

I think I pretty much went through all the Zoloft symptoms that could possibly exists and I was wondering if anybody experienced them. I wanna make sure I’m not freaking out for no reason and of these will pass. I’ve been on Zoloft for 4 weeks now and the most annoying symptom I have right now is dry eyes and blurry vision, I think I even got a stomach and eye infection. I keep having tremors. Has anyone experienced this? How long did it take for yours to go away? I keep being paranoid and I feel I’m gonna end up blind. Also is it normal to have anxiety and depression spikes during the 4th week?

I went onto Venlafaxine or Effexor in the States not Zoloft but I know what you mean and really sympathise.

I probably also went through the full range of symptoms and by 4 weeks definitely would have been thinking that I was getting worse except for the odd good day. I did not get eye symptoms but have heard of lots of people who did. I am so glad I did not give up as antidepressants have been a life saver for me.

It took about 4 months for me to feel I had got my self back and about a year to more or less fully recover. I still get the odd symptoms but just ignore them I found new symptoms could crop up for about 4 months and then disappear again. I also had to make sure I set myself little challenges everyday and try not to be afraid of my symptoms, as I know they cannot hurt me and will gradually go.

I am now fully recovered and if anything life is even better than it was before I was ill.

Hi! Thanks a lot for sharing your experience I guess all of these have the similar experience. Wow it really took a while for the meds to do their work. May I ask if you were treating depression or anxiety? I’m always wondering when this is gonna kick in for me. I know we are all different. Also I’m so happy to hear you are fully recovered! Have you considered coming off the meds?
