I woke up this morning with my usual feeling of impending doom and decided to find and share some positives in my anxiety instead.
Although it's very tough to deal with, anxiety has made me resilient, full of empathy and understanding for others, open minded to others, patient with others and non judgemental toward others. These are qualities I want to keep and learn to direct towards myself.
Even though I don't know anyone on this forum, I know that you are all amazing in your own way and have so much to offer the world. You are important. Smile and laugh as much as you can. Focus on your blessings and good qualities today if you can ❤️❤️❤️
Think about your awesomeness and if you feel up to it, share a silver lining about your experiences please. I would love to hear from you. Sending hugs to all of you xxx

I love your introspection!! I don’t find too many people reflect upon themselves as you do. It’s refreshing to see and I love your positive outlook on what anxiety has done for you in a good way (empathy, resilience, etc). Just wow! Love love love your post. I just joined and your post made my day!
I feel like my anxiety has made me much more sensitive to others’ feelings and I am always trying to make other people feel better and put them at ease.
Thanks so much for your kind words and for taking the time to reply to my post 😀 I can tell you are a lovely person from your comments so I have no doubt that you will help many people in your life XXX
Welcome!! It’s so good that you’re able to look at an unhappy thing and find how it’s helped you - I know I need to do that more often
Possibly the silver lining I’m most proud of is that growing up afraid to trust people has made me much more empathetic to kids. I work with kids at my job, and I go out of my way to be non-scary, helpful, and kind. And when I need to discipline them I try to do it in a way that won’t scare them but will make them think. In short, I treat them how I wish more adults had treated me.
