I don't know if anybody here watches the X Factor, but I've been watching some old episodes on YouTube and am literally shocked and inspired by the courage of the contestant Bella Ferraro. She often would have severe anxiety on stage but powered through it anyway and came very close to winning. You can see her first audition where her mic was shaking at the beginning if you look up "Bella Ferraro Skinny Love." There is another performance she did of "99 Red Balloons," where she broke down crying from anxiety after the song because of her anxiety. Another one, "Don't Dream It's Over," she forgot the lyrics a couple times but then got right back in it with her beautiful, (seemingly) confident voice. I am inspired by her because she is someone who, even with all her anxiety and feelings of insecurity, pushed through her nerves and is now a popular performer in Australia (even though she dropped her contract with Sony because the music industry was a bit too much pressure on her). One of my favorite contestants of all time! She didn't win, but she came in fourth and went on to become a wonderful Australian singer!

An Inspirational Icon for Me
I will have to look her up. I find real stories of people having full lives even WITH anxiety very uplifting.
Imagines with my happy childhood play in front of my eyes. When time passed and I grew up I was more and more unhappy, with physical manifestation of depression and anxiety. Today I'm lost in this life, feeling that I missed my purpose somewhere in the road of life. Many of you said that we should concentrate on present not on past but the past is the one which define us and in present we have nothing to like, to love, to enjoy.
I think maybe you have the wrong post??? Just thought I'd give a heads up.
I watch xfactor, I love watching and I know what you mean some people really do inspire...I must take a look ..
Thank you for sharing xx
