hello everyone can cold sores affect inside your mouth like your tonge ect ☹️ or could it be my anxiety playing up ☹️ xx

I would see your dentist or doctor with this - urgently. Get it checked out.

I don't know what it is - 2 reasons 1) I can't see it and 2) I'm not medically qualified.

Do you have a dentist nearby? Could you call in first thing in the morning and get it checked out? If it's causing you extra anxiety, could you go there this evening? Then you'll have peace of mind.

No one on here can diagnose.

I had lots of sores inside my mouth (as well as cold sores on the outside) years ago when I had Campylobacter poisoning. I was extremely ill and left very run down. My face looked like a skull, I was very dehydrated.

Have you any ideas?

Is it like an ulcer? Is there more than one sore? Are you dehydrated? Do you drink lots of water and eat well?

If it were me I would see the dentist or my GP or both.

There might be a rinse you can get to clear it up.☺

What inhalers are you using for your Asthma? Do you rinse mouth or brush teeth after inhaler use?

Did you use an inhaler after eating the takeaway?

I would :

a) Make an appointment to see the Asthma Nurse asap to discuss this and your inhalers - see if the cause lies there and if any advice can be given.

b) Meanwhile try -

homemade mouthwashes of either Bicarbonate of soda in warm water or salt (level teaspoon of either in mug of bolied water, stirred well and left to cool). Do this 2 or 3 times a day and at night time.
