Your Personal Power Poem

When I was burdened with your ladings, I was lighter than a feather,

When you confined me within walls, I visited far-away places,

When you ground me with your words, I only pulled together,

When you smashed me underfoot, I was watching from above,

When you devised evil against me, you devised against yourself,

When you thought you had me down, I was lifted up,

When you tried to make me weak, I was through my weakness strong,

When you thought you crushed my heart, It was only made whole,

When you wist not of my friends, they were right there by my side,

When you smothered me with darkness, I could only see the Light,

When you thought that I was bound, I was only roaming free.

Yes I was, very controlled by my parents, very abusive upbringing but if I can make it so can everyone here! I am much better today ; ) Thank you for your response!
