Effexor 75 withdrawl

i have missed my effexor dose today,since i have been tapering down for the past 2 weeks.Now I forgot to buy a new pack of 37.5 mg effexor tabs.

I am worried about withdrawl. I want to know the tips for coping with this withdrawl.

Is it dangerous if i miss 1 or 2 days of medication? Has anyone gone through this period ?

It's not really dangerous per se but it can be really unpleasant. Everybody's different, but I had severe dizziness when I tried to taper off Effexor. It was pretty bad when I couldn't get a refill on time. The only thing that helped was getting back on the medication unfortunately.

I have missed one or two days of Effexor while I was on it and I did get headaches and a feeling of slight vertigo. I would make sure I tapered down as the doctor ordered bc I did abruptly go off of it bc I just I had not picked any up and just wanted to be off of it already but I have to tell you it was not good. I went through some severe anxiety, anger, irritability, agitation and depression. This also coincided with recovery from surgery and some personal issues but I still think most of by intense emotional responses was bc I did not taper. Please be safe and do it correctly.
