I ran across the movie Sybil 2007 not the old 1. I want to watch it but since I've been facing my own mental issues I'm hesitant to watch it. God knows I don't want to be like that i would not be able to live that way. I do feel my issue is severe at times feels like I'm about to have a mental breakdown. I can't be committed I have kids they need me. But I need help to. Lost

I would not recommend watching it if it's anything like the original. I still can't hear that name without feeling seriously disturbed. Was forced to watch that movie in psychology class in high school. I don't think it had any redeeming qualities.
On the other hand, A Beautiful Mind is an awesome movie about mental illness.
Hi Darknlovely504, I agree with Eowyn7, in that it's not a good idea to watch
a depressing, dark movie. "A Beautiful Mind" would be a better choice or something
that you and your children can enjoy together. xx
Do not put yourself thru the wringer. Watch healthy movies and funny movies, I watched "The Full Monty" last night and I am not depressed now. I stay away from doom and gloom, even when I am well. So why contribute to your brain not functioning properly. Are you on an antidepressant, it sounds like you need help. I take an antidepressant every day, also anti anxiety and am grateful they make me function properly on an even keel, so I do not let gloom into my life. Be good and kind to yourself, get help talk with a therapist, whatever it takes to get you on an even keel, you and your children need you. They love you and I love you.......Sprinkle 1........xx Big Hugs......000
