I love this. I think it’s really cool to have a symbol that represents mental illness. It creates more awareness. And having a special symbol can show the world that this is a REAL disease. Infact, Abraham Lincoln suffered from depression and wrote a passage about the “semicolon.” He liked the symbol when writing because he felt it was a pause in the sentence rather than a direct stop. Depression goes back hundreds of years. We just need to find ways of accepting that we have a mental illness; and if we keep trying, we can overcome our symptoms. Supporting each other can help us get there ☺️😍😘❤️

We’re best friends so obviously you have to get one! I ordered mine yesterday. I can’t wait for it! I’m also getting one tattooed. I’ll text you pictures of them. Xxxxoooo😍
Yessss! I definitely want one! I just don’t have $10! Lol. You know I don’t work until January! 😩 I’ve always wanted a tattoo of a semicolon on my wrist! Please send me pics when you get it!!! I love you!!!! 😍😘
Maybe I’ll get you one for Halloween 🎃That’s the only holiday coming up lol. I have a wrist tattoo. I have many tattoos actually. It’s seriously an addiction! Love you too 😘
You are always so sweet! Thank you 🙏🏼 My Dad is actually a huge fan of Lincoln. He cried so hard at the end of the movie. He’s a Civil War Reenacter. He has Lincoln paintings all over the house. His whole office is decorated with Lincoln memorabilia. It definitely inspired me to love him too. He was such a good man. And the semicolon is just really beautiful.
When I was diagnosed as having depression, I read about other "famous" people who had it and knowing he did, too, just gave me pride, hope and some fight. I never thought I would make it to this age - you know depression would have us believe the worst. But I'm here. And sometimes it's hard to believe. I'm just very thankful.
Wow that’s amazing! It’s incredible how far back this disease goes. I love how he showed you how to fight. Everyday, that is what we do. You have such positive energy. I absolutely love that about you 😍
