I want to share this link, could be interesting for people and helpful. We know that for most of us mornings are the most difficult time, when anxiety hits...and/or depression.
I also believe that routine and schedule and planning the day helps to reduce those symptoms(sometimes, not always, not for all of us). So you can browse those different morning routines ...and may be find something helpful for yourself ...or see that people have similar issues and how they deal with them.
please don't be intimidated by the fact that it seems it is all accomplished, successful people, they don't write there about their struggles(it is just about morning routines), but they have them....just read statistics how many successful people take medication and use therapy and get depressed...We all are human and we all can learn from each other.
I was pointed there by friend, and i am only starting to look at it:
Thanks will take a look. I really need to sort out my mornings. I keep hitting snooze until the last minute. I dread getting out of bed.
For me, the key to a successful morning is time. I get up 3 hours before I have to be at work to do the things I need to do at home before heading out. I need time to sit and do nothing while I drink my coffee, read out of my daily devotional, do an Albuterol nebulizer treatment, eat, take my meds, check my sugar and treat it accordingly and shower/get dressed and ready. Then I have a 40 minute commute to work where I psych myself up and attempt relaxation en route. It doesn’t always work out though, as I got a speeding ticket last night on my way home...$180.00 that I don’t have! Oh well, guess I’ll be working a little overtime to pay for that!
wow. it is a good routine to have 3 hours morning...to do all those needed things not in a frenzy...But then questions : what time you have to get up and how many hours of sleep you have? Because for me it is very important to have at least 7 hours of sleep, otherwise i feel very weak physically and drained emotionally.
That’s what happens when you drive 66 in a 45. I have to get up at 4:00 because I have to be at work at 7:00. It’s not hard on me because I’m usually awake by then anyway. I’m a morning person and that’s when I feel my best. I don’t get anywhere near 7 hours a night and it has nothing to do with what time I get up! I have insomnia directly related to restless legs syndrome!
It is not easy ...insomnia and health issues. But you are so positive person...I admire you for your stamina and strength. And you inspire me! Thank you for that!
