Hi and a warm welcome to the site :). I am so sorry that you are battling with depression. It is a tough fight but you will come out on top. I have experienced it myself with a broken heart and it was horrible. But by sharing my feeling and emotion upon this site, I was able to feel better as the folks here super kind and nice and understanding. I hope that you feel and get better soon. Stay strong friend. Dogsandtennis -Glad to see you are talking about your depression and not staying quite about it. So many times it is easy for us to just not talk and that is exactly what makes it worse. Depression for me was a 25 year battle it has been almost 10 years since I was at the bottom of the hole. There is hope don’t stop fighting. God is good! Lol!! Well unfortunately I don't have any dogs so my tennis balls are all intact
I highly recommend YouTube videos by Douglas Bloch. He has battled depression a few times and has very good insight and coping strategies. Welcome to the forum!
I suffered from depression and anxiety and meds were not taken care of it one day someone recommended acupuncture to me I thought I would give it a try I have nothing to lose. After five sessions I was totally back to myself I tell anyone who suffering to try it because if it works on them you get your life back

I would try meditating & not staying too much indoors. Being outside helps so much more than we realize. Also try to keep close to you the things that make you happy. Try new things, learn a new language, etc
Thx Alexa! Yes, I've been trying to meditate daily for the past few weeks and I feel it's already helping. I also agree that being outdoors does a world of good. I went on a long and fast power walk last night with a friend for 1.5 hours and although I was exhausted after, I felt really good mentally. Thanks for these wonderful reminders😉 Sounds like u have a lot to offer this support group!
