Will I always be this way

I have social anxiety, ptsd, etc and I cannot be in public without my husband. I am about to turn fifty. Will i always have these including bipolar 2 with schizophrenia. I worry what will happen to me as I age.

I don’t have a crystal ball, but I do have a cruddy opinion.

I think that our world is constantly changing, sometimes for the worse and sometimes for the better. We are responsible for these changes.

I came to this conclusion and started to control my process of change at about your age. It was a case of better late than never. So my opinion is that you can change, for the better, if you choose to change.

I worked with Rational Emotive Therapy to effect my change, along with meds and other things. I worked heavily on acceptance, primarily of myself and my world.

There is a path, but having the will to find it is the first step of the journey.
