It takes great courage to put your life out there for others to comment on when you don't know what anyone could say. I will tell you that the people here had helped me over the past weeks and days, especially recently....in a way I could have never imagined. I have never seen such compassion and kindness in my life...sincerely. So for any new people here, if you reach out with kindness, it does come back to you .... the odd time it does not, forget about it and move on.

I do think about that Gerrerd. Sometimes I think " Now, come on, we are the same breed that Suffered and Won 2 World Wars!" So why am I such a wuss, that somedays, I can hardly get out of the House?;" Maybe that Courage lurks beneath, ready to show itself when really required. 😊🌻✌️

we are tough Dubba....but the climate socially has become so much more of a gamble as to how people will treat us out there in the real world. It's understandable to be hesitant now days....I remember back in the day when you chatted on the front lawn with your neighbors while watering the grass, traded plants with each other, and let each others kids play in the pool together....now you don't want to get sued, or yelled at , or what ever...

I'm glad to have friends like you, and gerrerd...etc., etc....so many good hearts and kind people here, it does give us a bit of hope for the world. Even if its our own little world here some days.

I think there is much sense in what you say Faux (as usual) 😊 Yes, I think people are much more aggressive. Where I live you hardly dare join a Club because people are so unwelcoming and stick to their friends and Husband's (like I'd want another of them?!) like glue. Lest you steal em away! I do have a Few friends but, I'm very careful, takes me a long while to trust. And like you i am grateful for you, Gerry, and the kind, caring folk on here. Makes me that bit less lonely. 😊✌️🌻Dee
