Chronic Panic Attacks

I just wondered if there are others out there like me. I suffer with chronic, daily panic attacks with a myriad of symptoms that include a racing heart, violent tremors, speech problems and motor skills problems. I'm wondering if there is a genetic predisposition to having chronic Panic Disorder. Both of my parents are very nervous people. If anyone has any information that can help me with this, please contribute. Thank you in advance.

Yes it’s a common occurrence that may people have or had. I am one that had that for about 20 of the 30 year to date until my psychiatrist added atenolol to my Xanax. Atenolol is a Bata blocker and is used of label for people with panic and anxiety issues. It’s a very safe and clean medication. What it does is slow you heart rate down to a normal level and blocks adrenaline. It’s a great medication look up on google and type in atenolol for anxiety. A lot of actors take it for stage fright for example. That all being said it may just be what you need to put you back in control of you panic attacks. Best wishes John

Thank you so much for your helpful reply. I think my doctor tried me on it years ago, but I'm not sure. It's worth a try though.
