13 reasons why
Ive watched it what’s going on
A few years ago, i lost someone at my former school, that i cant say i was close to but i knew of her. She committed suicide because of bullying and no support system at home or at school. I've felt horrible since that day even though i was told by everyone it wasnt my fault that i helped.
Is there are counsellor you could see to discuss this over with? I have a friend who made a serious suicide attempt. She didn't die but I have felt awful ever since. I think it may help you just to talk it out with someone. It is a horrible thing that happened and traumatising to those around her even though you were not close it is natural to get a reaction to this if you are a sensitive person. Gemma xx
unfortunatly the costs to speak to a counseller are outrageous so not really but yeah it does sometimes help to talk about it
I'm sorry to hear what you're dealing with...
I've watched all of 13RW and I won't lie, there were a few parts that brought up bad past experiences for me, it's never easy to talk about those kinds of things.
But you're very strong for wanting to discuss what's going on in your life.
I know it's probably overdone for you at this point but it wasn't your fault. When that sort of thing happens a lot of people question if they could end done something, you're not a bad person, please know that.
If you ever need someone to talk to, talk here. It's a safe place, we understand and we'll help you in anyway we can.
Be kind to yourself and stay strong ❤️
its why i came here honestly hoping to find people to talk to, maybe help me understand
i am glad this is a place i can come to and talk.
it just sucks that flashbacks of this person just makes me feel pretty horrible even though it wasnt my fault.
I dont know if that is just from the show bringing flashbacks or if that is my anxiety/depression speaking from the past.
I think the show was a little overly dramatic when it comes to how a suicidal person thinks. It seemed that Hannah was very right minded, when that's not at all howsuicidal people think. She was very calm on her tapes, saying what someone did to add to her decision. Most suicidal people are more likely to be less specific in their reasoning. It just all kind of jumbles together in a big giant mess that, usually, can't be explained. That said, unless you were mean to her, you didn't even show up on her radar. If you were mean to her, suicidal people are only thinking of themselves when they commit/try to commit suicide. They don't think of others, how someone added to their pain or what will happen to others after they die. They only think of the pain. We can only remember that and be kinder to others because of it. There isn't a school counselor, who would be free to talk to?
Ok, thanks
