Depression has been part of my life for years. I’ve found ways to cope, but every now and then it’ll get bad. I don’t want to leave the bed in the morning or get off the couch at night. I know that these feelings will pass, but it’s still really hard to get through them. It’s hard to complete basic tasks like cleaning or going to work. I feel so lazy.

I so understand how you feel, I try get outside in fresh air and find it briefly helps
I have days like that and I mostly deal with my anxiety. However it can be exhausting and sometimes just want to sleep it off. I try to tell myself it will pass and it always does. Try not to feel guilty for feeling safe or tired. It does help. Try to allow your mind and body to heal with rest. I know its not easy but it does make you feel better to know that you might actually need to recover.

I can relate, my days sometimes fly by and I feel as though I did nothing but sleep or lie around. I try to push myself to do little tasks and I know if I complete them it will make me feel better. You're not lazy.
