ACCEPTANCE of Anxiety is the first step. Understanding how anxiety works with the Mind/Body Connection. What we think is how we feel. Trying different methods that make a difference for yourself is all important. What works for one, doesn't for another. Over the years, I looked into and tried every different method out there. Some worked very well but were also very cash draining. But nothing is ever at a loss. We take something away from everything we have tried.
I still haven't stopped learning but use what works best for me which is Meditation/Deep Breathing. But it's not just for when you need it but must become a part of your life. Once you have this by your side, you can get through anything life may throw your way including normal daily stress.
It's become a part of who I am now. I'm a more calmer, laid back person. That doesn't mean anxiety won't test me, but I know how to accept it, push it aside and go on with my life. You will too t_nguyen. Take everything you can from the forum. It's free x
I like learning from mindfulness reflections, meditations, poems, writing. I like taking care of myself like using a nice lotion. I like doing thoughtful things for others. Oh and I’ve been addicted to exercise lately.
