I’ve googled the same or similar phrase other times over the years and since but this site was never a result and it hasn’t come up since. I really needed help and this site just appeared. I think there is someone looking out for me.

I founded on a suicide support website . :)

My friend referred me to the NAMI national alliance mental illness site and I found it clicking around there. They offer free support groups for people and separate ones for family of people suffering from mental illness

Are there other sites like this on NAMI?

Not sure. I just tried to look but there are lots of links to different things. I just looked for a little bit. You may want to explore it when you have time

Hello, do you have the HealthUnlocked app in your phone? I was doing some research and it has over 700 groups. If you do a search in the app there are other groups for depression and some just for men. Maybe your husband can benefit from one of them.

I don't have the app but if there are lots of groups I'll have my husband put the app on his phone. He worries about us both being on the same because there are still things with his depression he's not ready to share with me that he dies share with other people in chat since he can speak when we are having issue. How do you find a group. On this site i just look at the feed that comes through. Do you know if our feeds might over lap on here? Thanks for the info.

You can subscribe to more than one group and they will all appear on the feed but then you pick which group you want to post to. I’m sure you could do the same on-line but I’m more familiar with the app. I just choose the community icon on the bottom and it lists the group I’m subscribed to and if I click on search it lists some groups but then you can enter a search term to look for groups.

From a book written by my favorite author. She included something to help anxiety and googled and saw this thing and I was surprised that they also offer as an app.
