MY LUAU BIRTHDAY PARTY IS SUNDAY😬

Husband offered to throw me a luau party for my birthday that I have always wanted, but somehow I ended up having to plan everything. My anxiety has been on overload ever since. I deserve to be happy and excited about things like this like normal people do, especially since happy times are rare. I sure as heck not going to plan any more parties. I could use some prayer plz.

Ahhh, my first bday wish with an amazing post to start my day with. So grateful for that. I may post some pictures of the decorations.

Don't you worry about anyone at the party, it is your birthday so you enjoy. If anyone as any problems telling them to go talking to the flowers or something.

When I got married I had everyone warned that if they had any complaints on the wedding day to talk to my bouquet because the bride wouldn't be listening as I was going to have a great day and enjoy my wedding. (I'd been to a few weddings before where the bride ended up having to listen to peoples problems or in tears and I was not going to have that. As far as myself and my partner was concerned we'd invited everyone to celebrate our marriage and not complain about who they were sitting with, or the food, or whatever else they could think of,) We had a great day, other than my mother-in-law being in hospital and not being able to make it to the wedding.

You have a great day and enjoy your birthday. Anyone with any problems let your husband handle it. It is the least he could do.

You made me laugh and you're right of course. My entire life has always been about pleasing everyone else even when I'm lost in the process. I DON'T have to have a spotless house so that my brother will visit me again and not think poorly of me. We live in an area that is all paid parking only, but it will work out with out me. I told them in advance so they already know. After doing something for the party each day for a few wks with my step dad's help it was more bearable. Ty for reminding me that I am powerless or people, places and things. Glad your wedding day was good for you. Sorry about your mom in law and I hope she is ok now. My maid of honor died the day before my wedding. We knew she was in the hospital so someone stepped in for her. Nobody told us she had died until after the honeymoon and at first I was angry that nobody told me. But I know they wanted me to have a good wedding and honeymoon. It's amazing how everyone was in mourning even her husband came.
