I go on utube, and listen to Nature sounds, that are meant to relax you. Works for me. I fall asleep to Artic Storms sounds. Wind and snow etc ! Or sometimes waterfall sounds with nature. I found it when I had a bought of anxiety on 2013. Still use it now !

I have a sound machine with nature sounds most of the time it helps.
... that sounds even better ... sometimes depending on my mood I change from theme that theme. Sometimes listening to Dr Weekes on utube helps me relax. As I find with bouts of Anxiety, I have to learn as much as I can about it. Just ordered a book from Amazon again. I suppose someone would say I'm obsessing a little lol ... but I know myself and feeling the need to read and listen helps me feel more in control.
, I always manage to pick one thing that stays in my mind that helps me.
I had to go to the supermarket the other day, noise, people everywhere, bright lights, everything seems so fast today ! I started to feel a little panic by the cashier, so I went over in my head what I'd heard Dr Weekes saying the night before, which helped me. Other support techniques have helped me... such as one site in particular, stated to accept don't fight it , bring it on type of thing get excited with it. Anxiety and excitement are similar feelings ... it's hard but I try and get excited and then I feel myself relax a little and more in control. xx
