ECT success

I have tried every antidepressant medication there is. Looking at ECT as a treatment. Anyone have success, or know anyone that has used this treatment?

Hey there, my instructor's wife's life was saved by ECT. She fell into a profound depression many years ago, and my instructor thought he'd never get her back. I've heard that for people who need it, it can be really impactful.

I am so glad to hear that! I became very depressed after my mom passed 5 years ago. Since then i have been on every medication from A-Z. Recently, i did the gene test and am on Detain a now because it was on the well metabolized list. I have done all my ECT pre-op tests and I am on a 3 month waiting list. I am hopeful that it will help, and I very much appreciate you taking the time to respond! Thank you!
