Yes! God is essential in one's life. Some people think that if they talk/pray to God and ask for something that He must not exist or not be listening if He doesn't answer they way we want Him to. This simply is NOT true. God knows ALL things. He knows what's best for us. He wants us to seek Him in everything.

Some use God, somewhat like a genie in a bottle type of thing. We don't just ask Him for things like we would make a wish and expect Him to answer, and then be mad at Him for not hearing us. He is a very personal God who wants a relationship with each and everyone of us. He is not to be used like a genie in a bottle up on a shelf and to take it/Him down whenever we need something from Him. He will answer your heart's cry according to His perfect will. His will for us is that we find comfort, rest, and refuge in Him.

Keep hope alive. Keep the faith. God does hear. He does know right where you're at. He will lead you if you allow Him to and when you put yourself aside to hear His voice. It's not always easy but God is always there!!!

I honestly believe if I did not find God I would not be hear.

I hope you don't mind but I want to share just a couple of wonderful scriptures with you.

Isaiah 41:10 do not be afraid,for I am with you. Do not be anxious for I am your God. I will fortify you yes I will help you. I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.

1st Peter 5:7 while you throw all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

But this doesn't mean he will fix everything but he will give us the strength to endure and a way out as at,

1st Corinthians 10:13 no temptation has come upon you except what is common to man, But God is faithful,and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear but along with temptations he will also make a way out so that you may be able to endure it.

Psalms 55:22 Throw all your burden on God and he will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous to fall.

And this scripture at Jeremiah 29:11 is great to me because here Jehovah is telling us how much he cares for us it reads ; For I well know the thoughts that is am thinking towards you declares Jehovah thoughts of peace and not of calamity to give you a future and hope.

And at 1st Thessalonians 5:14 Paul is telling the congregation:; on the other hand we urge you brothers to admonish the disorderly , speak consolingly to those who are depressed, support the weak, be patient toward all.

That last scripture is especially touching to me because he understands that we have depression.

We just need to pray a lot.

I hope I didn't offend anyone in this group. I just love God and the bible. And am so grateful for him I had to share.

Joseph, despite all he had suffered in being sold as a slave in to Egypt he was then falsely accused and slung in to a dungeon for how many years? Don't you think he must have thought life was rubbish. If God has not changed and you are a Christian do you think this could happen to you, surely not?
