AMN and libido

Why do men with AMN develop sexual dysfunction? Is it due to spinal cord injury or sex steroids? I have an erection, but it arises spontaneously, and there is no sexual desire, my libido is at zero, ejaculation occurs with great difficulty, orgasm is almost not felt

The nerves necessary for all sexual activity - erection and orgasm - are centred in the same area of the groin. So, with nerve damage that is "below the waist" it's an area that is vulnerable. But, like all AMN symptoms, the effect may be limited or more severe, impossible to forecast.

Sorry that you are affected. Have you tried some of the remedies discussed here before, including, of course, Viagra (Sildenafil)?

I do not take anything, I also have very low dehydroepiandrosterone, and a slightly increased globulin that binds sex hormones.
