Has anyone else had dwp ring on a Sunday at 8.30am to talk about the pip review form that they had sent in. At the end he said I had it for another 2 years.

Hiya Cherie, I’ve never had a call from them on a Sunday, but I used to make many. I worked for the DWP for over 13 years, and there was always plenty of overtime. Saturdays and Sundays were usually 8am to 4pm, so I say it was a DWP call.

Thank you. I checked the number and he didn't ask for any other details so it sounded legit. It was just a shock as I was still in bed having recently got out of hospital due to a heavy fall , and it woke me up.I didn't sound too good! Happy in the end though.

Sorry to hear about your fall. I hope you’re feeling better soon.

Thank you Kazzy. I have a neuro Physio coming on Tuesday as I am still having problems putting much weight on my right leg, and I am having a lot of spasms at night which my Lyrica isn't helping with.

The spasms are so annoying. I take 30mg of Amytriptaline at night. 99.9% of the time it does the trick, and they make you tired. If it wasn’t for my bladder waking me up, I’d get a full 8 hours I’m sure 🤣 I hope you can get some help for the spasms Cherie x

Hi karen do you not have tablets to help with bladder control. ? I take 2 different ones .....1 propranolol & 1 mirabegron.....I find them very helpful with bladder control

Hi Kimmy, I did try mirabegron, but I had a very bad reaction to them, and had to get the doctor to visit me. My legs were so painful and swollen. It was hell. I’ve been put off trying anything else.

I go to acupuncture, and take oxybutynin for bladder and find both helpful.

Hi Cherie,

I take 20 mg Amitriptyline at night for restless legs and I find they help but it's not perfect. I take Mirabegron for the bladder and find them good, better than Solifenacin I took previously.
