I hope the year that is ending has been one where newcomers have been able to gain some support from the many wonderful contributions of “old hands” on the experience of living with AMN. You are the difference that makes this forum special.
Thank you, everyone, and to all, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, or Season's Greetings. Very Best Wishes for 2020.

Have a great Christmas or celebration and hope we all have a good New Year 👍👍 This site has been so useful over the years and helped where medical team have been unable 👏👏👏
Hope everyone had a great Christmas!! Just getting on here after a couple of weeks. May the New Year bring many blessings to you all and no progression in symptoms!
Happy new year Chris. Unfortunately my new year was 5 days spent in hospital due to a heavy fall. (No drink involved!) After a ct scan and xray they decided I hadn't broken anything.I am at present unable to get upstairs, using a wheelchair and walker , and waiting for a physio to come and see me. The tramadol helps with the pain although I will be trying to get off it as soon as possible.
So sorry to hear that Cherie. I am glad you didn't go my route! hope you are now on the mend. I can attest that breaking a leg when you have a neuro condition like ours is not a good idea! Physio was useful to a degree but because they have a limited understanding of neuro conditions I soon discontinued it. Hoping to get back to the gym soon.
Thanks Chris. We have a group of community neuro nurses down here and they are sending one of their physios so ever hopeful they can get me going again.
