Applicable to us as well, demyelination of the optic nerve being one of the myriad of symptoms some of us have to endure.

It's only a matter of time until we can have implants in our leg muscles, if we cannot remyelinate our spines, then the action potentials can just as well be delivered electronically.

I keep telling my son, Monkeybus Junior to go into medical electronics, that or genetic engineering. He's not the least bit interested in what the old man has to say. Teenagers, I don't know.
