Brain Fog.

Whilst I have mainly addressed physical symptoms so far in my posts, I feel we should also talk about the dreaded BRAIN FOG. As the name suggests its a pretty awful affliction where your brain momentarily shuts down, rendering you incapable of listening to people talking to you, forgetting stuff or doing something stupid without realising.

My poor girlfriend often ends up talking to herself as I have drifted away to my very own personal LaLa land. Happily I am naturally a careful person and my wheelchair is equipped with a pocket just for passport and wallet. Phone and keys are another matter, although if I go anywhere I make sure they are double safe too.

As with almost all symptoms of AMN, brain fog is ultimately beatable. I am sure some medication exists. But I get by just by being prepared and forming some good habits, like put your wallet back in the pocket without fail every time.
