Unfortunately, this is indicative of AMN as we age. I myself have noticed a drastic decline in my walking ability. Today, I struggle to complete over 1 mile in 30 minutes combined with various speeds and incline. It is tasking and grueling but I fight onward regardless.

Thank you for posting. We need validation.

With me, I cheat because I use the treadmill at the gym using muscle memory to walk with and without using handrails. Walking on pavement is a challenge because it is not flat and my depth perception is distorted and it may cause me to trip or fall.

Tried treadmill at PT. Managed .25 miles at 1.2 mph max. Plan on trying to work up from there.
