Hi Eater. Not quite sure what your question is here. Do you mean is anyone taking a water tablet?

Oh, now l understand. I take warfarin and take my medication mid breakfast and as the direction is to take with water, l have a drink after breakfast. I always think it good to line the stomach with food before taking medications and also not so hard on the liver. As Bob says there is one DOAC rivaroxaban that needs fat to be absorbed properly, but you are fine with edoxaban. Read the leaflet that comes with the medication as l think one glass of water is sufficient.

If you are taking rivaroxaban then your regime is inadequate. This DOAC needs a full meal preferably with some fat to be properly absorbed. A couple of years ago this was flagged up as a few people were not fully protected and had strokes as a result of not taking it with a proper meal. Personally, regardless of which, I take all my pills before dinner each evening.

Edoxoban can be taken with or without food. As far as the "blue pill", best to find out the name.

Blue pill is that digoxin?

its definitely better to take them around dinner time rather than in the morning, as the "blood thinning" affect is strongest during the first few hours - and better to be asleep during that time than moving around bumping things that potentially cause bruising.

Which is why u have to drink lots of water when u are taking blood thinner. Please try it and let us know if u feel better…I did

I always take my Xarelto with my last meal of the day which is early , 5pm - that is a full, although small ,meal including a light pudding, Three hours later I take my low dose BP med and 5mg statin. I go to bed about 10pm.I take nothing regularly in the morning, just the occasional 1.25mg of Biso as needed(if my HR hits the 90s). I have a glass of water beside me all day and that is a ll I drink apart from one cup of decaf instant coffee with breakfast

Not sure, but I always refill my glass if I have emptied it (I'm 81, so don't have things like collecting kids from school to interfere with my routine😄), Ijust refill my glass as soon as it's empty and I keep a glass on my bedside table at night.

I take all my medication with breakfast unless it states otherwise, ie without food or at night

I take all my tablets when I wake up with a mug of water. Don’t usually have breakfast unless we have visitors.

Yes, take thyroid meds, Xarelto and Lisinopril, with a nice bowl of porridge, made with skimmed milk and some raisins popped in
