Rivarboxan Tablets Query

Hi, I am taking Rivarboxan tablets and have been for a few years now. I am just wondering is there an issue with weight whilst taking this med? I have been asked into my g.p. practice for a height and weight check due to being on this med. I have not been asked before, has anyone else been asked to do this. I do find it hard to loose weight, often wonder if it is all the meds I am on. Thanks for any advice. Keep well everyone xx

I have been on Rivaroxaban for over nine years and did have some difficulty loosing weight but after stopping Atorvastatin had no trouble loosing or maintaining my weight.

I have a twice yearly checkup because of the meds I'm on but not specifically Rivaroxaban for weight.

Thanks for your reply, I will discuss that when I go to my doc. I am on both those meds.

Thanks Bob, no I have never heard of it or been asked in before because of it and I have been on them a few years.

I think check your weight to see if the dose needs adjusting. They ask me every time I go.

Thanks for your reply. Each time you go to your doc or consultant and is that because of taking Rivarboxan? Thanks.

I have only been on Riveroxaban since January this year but have actually lost weight unintentionally during that time and do not seem to be regaining it.

Thanks for your reply, maybe mention to your doc if you are not wanting to loose weight. Suppose we all get different side effects from meds. Keep well.
