Hi, I am taking Rivarboxan tablets and have been for a few years now. I am just wondering is there an issue with weight whilst taking this med? I have been asked into my g.p. practice for a height and weight check due to being on this med. I have not been asked before, has anyone else been asked to do this. I do find it hard to loose weight, often wonder if it is all the meds I am on. Thanks for any advice. Keep well everyone xx

I have been on Rivaroxaban for over nine years and did have some difficulty loosing weight but after stopping Atorvastatin had no trouble loosing or maintaining my weight.
I have a twice yearly checkup because of the meds I'm on but not specifically Rivaroxaban for weight.

I have not heard of ssuch a problem with Rivaroxaban.
I think check your weight to see if the dose needs adjusting. They ask me every time I go.

Thanks for your reply. Each time you go to your doc or consultant and is that because of taking Rivarboxan? Thanks.
I have only been on Riveroxaban since January this year but have actually lost weight unintentionally during that time and do not seem to be regaining it.
