I have heard that coconut water could help with AF symptoms, so I got some today, but don't know if it is any good having with or without food... Is there anyone has experienced with this drink? Please, I would much appreciate your feedback. Many thanks.

Coconut water and AF
Yes I use it a lot to maintain hydration but more importantly electrolyte balance. It’s a drink so doesn’t really matter. I tend to use in smoothies.
It’s not ‘good’ for AF particularly but it will help your maintain electrolyte which if get out of whack can trigger AF. It’s particularly good during or after an episode. Just ensure it’s pure, unadulterated Coconut water and not a Coconut ‘Drink’. You do NOT want any added sugars.

Many thanks to you, CDreamer, and also to those who have commented about pure coconut drinking water. And yes, the one I got is Raw Pure without added sugar. I feel confident now to start drinking a glass every day and see if maintaining the level of the electrolyte helps.
Like CDreamer I drink coconut water, just one glass a day. I echo her advice to find one without added sugar. I buy the Innocent make.
I remember someone writing on this forum years ago who swore by the fact it had really helped to reduced her AF episodes, she may have even said it stopped them.

My daughter is a Nutritionist. She tells me that coconut water is the finest thing for rehydration and helps with the electricity around the body a lot too. I buy NAKED brand because it tastes ok.
