I have been taking magnesium turate for the last 5 years since my ablation, this has reduced my ectopic's to virtually nil, I get biocare tablets from Amazon as recommended by Dr Sanjay Gupta.I have tried other mag supplements as biocare are a bit expensive but have found biocare works the best, hope that helps

The one I take is Novoma Magnesium Bisglycinate which includes Taurine and Vitamin B6. The jar says 3 a day recommended dose but I only take one a day which has made a marked difference. Anything similar made by a reliable company should be ok. I got mine from Amazon.

ethical -nutrition. com I purchase magnesium taurate. From my research it is stated to be the best for heart health. I have no side effects but I only take I tab a day. The stated dose is 2. But I find 1 fine.

Magnesium Trio from Philip Weeks, London

Magnesium is probably the most common deficiency we see in the clinic. This is our in-house clinical formula containing 3 types of magnesium. Magnesium Taurate to support heart and muscle health. Magnesium Citrate particularly utilised by the mitochondria in the cells. Magnesium glycinate to support the nervous system. 6 week supply.

There's quite a lot of evidence that all magnesium salts provide a sufficient boost to blood levels, but, sadly, the evidence is that none reduce arrhythmias in any studies so far. That said, some like magnesium and a few swear by it. It's safe, so worth trying - safe because all but what the body can use is immediately excreted through the bowel, hence its laxative effect. The organic salts are absorbed better, so taurate, palmitate or citrate will be better in that respect, but the evidnce is clear that all do the trick. so the cheapest and simplest is as good as the most complex and priciest.

The best form of magnesium is the natural form and all vegetable matter is full of the stuff - greens especially. Factory made fodd additives are rarely the equal of nature.

Cardiologist Dr. Sanjay Gupta recommends Magnesium Taurate. I've been getting mine from Biocare.

Dr Gupta links to Ethical Nutrition, another company that sells the supplement.

I'm vegan and most of the stuff I eat contains magnesium. I've checked and almost all veggies, seeds and nuts contain it. I'm probably getting too much to be honest.

All the best.
