I would think it’s highly unlikely to be a problem with Bisoprolol and Edoxaban because magnesium supplements are frequently suggested by Cardiologist’s like Dr Sanjay Gupta from York Hospital who has made several YouTube videos on the subject. I cannot comment on the Levithyroxine but your pharmacist will be able to help you there.....
Many people here take Mg in one form or another. I am told added taurine is the best combination but I take good old H and B Mg Oxide. 250 mg a day. Take too much and you wont be far from a loo mind.
Oh Bob- you mention a loo to n relation to magnesium? I have been suffering from diorreah for four days last week stopped only by Imodium. Was it my magnesium? I also take K2, Omega 3 abd of course calcium. Mixed with Bisiporol, apaxiban, statin n and of course 12.5mg pred. How can I tell what has caused it?
Magnesium Citrate is gentle on the stomach & as it’s a powder , easy to digest & adjust the dose to suit. I found the link to Dr Sanjay Gupta’s articles very helpful when I was diagnosed a few years ago.
Bob, you are our revered Guru, so I hate to say it , but Magnesium Oxide is considered the least effective option as it’s not absorbed so well and can cause more digestive upsets.
For a long time before I knew about the connection between magnesium and afib, I knew a bath in Epsom salts would make me feel better. I think they have a lot of Magesium.
I take mag taurate with bisoprolol & apixaban. No probs. I told my cardiologist last week & he said I didn’t need it but I’m taking it I feel it makes me feel better. 🥰
