Hiya Yvonne, good to hear that you are still well and working. In a previous incarnation on here I was Carn Euny. Like you I'm still working and have cut my bus driving hours back from full 11 hour shifts to part time ... doin' some 30 hours a week running out of St. Ives, Cornwall to a major educational College about an hour or so away. Nice hours - 3 in morning and 3 in afternoon, 5 days a week. So I now have weekends off, half terms and all school holidays too. More importantly, AF now totally controlled, can't remember last event now .... 18 months or so ago.
Congratulations and good to hear from you. Sounds like life is going really well for you. Enjoy your semi retirement, no doubt filled with the great grandchildren. x
hello Von glad all is well ! I’m doing good, retired now which is brilliant! Just had a new baby granddaughter in Australia, met her in March off again in November, take care Eileen xxx
I think I sometimes can feel them in the background Jean but nowhere like they were Meds seem to keep them at bay so to speak Still get out of breath which I think are the meds but hey its better than the awful palpitations Hope your keeping well yourself x
Oh congratulations on grandmother stuff. You get all the goodies hopefully. I relate to the difference re working less. I'm 67 now and cannot work like I used to. May all go well with you.
Thanks exciting to hear Yvonne. Congratulations on becoming a grandmother. We were given the news on the weekend that we will become grandparents in January too so that's exciting.
I'm semi-retired - well my husband and I both run businesses but we can organise things to fit in with our lives.
