Our grandchildren live in mid/north Florida and they have come off lightly so far.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to you all at this worrying time
I agree - utterly terrifying for those caught up in it. Thinking about them and hoping for safety for all.

We just had our own hurricane ( Fiona) up here in the Maritimes, and so many family and friends had homes and businesses destroyed, lives upendedβ¦so it was fresh on our minds (last weekend) and we are reminded of the wrath of nature once again.
Letβs hope no more for this season. π«€
I hope so too for all your sakes. The weather can be truly terrifying. I cannot imagine what a 190mph wind feels like and the flooding is appalling.

It is a heartbreaking situation. I just moved from South Florida last October. Thankfully I have managed to reach those close to me and they are OK but lives are changed forever.
