2nd Booster jabs

Does anyone have any information on these? Earlier during the year there was some mention of them being available in August, but I have heard nothing recently.

I was called for my 3rd if not 4th jab a couple of months ago. Ring your GP and find out what is going on.

Everything has gone very quiet. It started off with 75+, vulnerable adults and children but nothing since. No idea what’s happening xx

I had my fourth ages ago but then I am an old git. The last I knew the local vaccine centre was taking walk ins.

We had our spring booster last week. We had a text, then a letter, then a phone call - why you not come? do you understand the importance? Explained I had put booster off because booked for dental op (which was cancelled). So we had ours at a walk in. Assume same procedure in autumn.

Seems to vary from region to individual GP practice. In Devon they were taken out of GP hands and you waited until you were notified by text/letter and then given a phone number to ring. Here in Sussex it’s the GP who is organising them so you may need to check locally.

I have to say I didn’t do well with the 4th jab which I had in Feb and thinking twice about having any further boosters.

PS - GP message when you ring is please don’t ring us to ask us about the booster ????

I am in London and have had my fifth booster as I am clinically vulnerable. I received text messages and emails reminding me until ti had it done.

Had 4 Pfizer jabs, no significant side effects. In states. 4th shot available to everybody over 50 or immunocomprimised.

In NZ I am still waiting re 2nd booster.

But I hav been invited to hav FLU injection from local CHEMIST and the DHB Health Dept.

It is free for me 73!

I never have a flu injection I hav told them and it is in my notes. Also my Dr sent a reminder.
