Meet-up

Just wondering if there are any plans for another meet up, last one in Exeter seems a while ago. May be in September or October. Think it was suggested about a lunch instead of a late breakfast. Personally I find these gatherings very helpful to meet and chat to others that have same problems.

Hi Norm. I think Jean and I are rather jaded with the venue and indifferent food to be honest. I used to run lunches two or three times a year at varaious venues from Taunton to a village south of Exeter but eventually gave up when numbers dropped from ten or twelve down to four ( including me) and the work /fun balance went out of it.. Lets see how the year goes but feel free to organise something if you like.

Hi Norm - Sept/October sounds good to me. I agree with Bob though - different venue although I like Exeter as most people can get there with public transport or car and we can make a day of it - shopping anyone? I know there were 3-4 of us who did that before and it was fun.

Finding a venue which is quiet enough to chat whilst providing a varied menu is somewhat challenging though - maybe I need to do a bit of research..........

Why not book a short cruise on a P&O ship. Should be all right as long as no one goes dressed as a clown...
