Some of us will be staying over at Hyatt Saturday night and no doubt get together. I used to organise the Pink Carnation Supper (wear one for ID ) each year but not sure I will bother this time as I know three others there already .

On the Sunday you will all have your name badges anyway . I'm "staff" so different badge but look out for me anyway. Two sticks and glasses should help..

Hi, I would have loved to attend, and to chat to you and others with AF, but as my attacks are now happening so frequently, in the night and without warning, I can no longer afford to book anything in advance that I might not be well enough to actually do. I’ve lost too much money this year as it is. So I wish you a great time and please report back on here if there are any interesting new developments😊

You can get it on line, this is what I do, Birmingham is too far for a day trip.

So sorry to read this. Hope you get things sorted. I'm hoping to go, trains permitting!

Sorry to hear your AF is so unstable at the moment . I’ve been there but currently have had the best run off NSR for years ( almost a year ) , on dronedarone and 2.5 mgs bisoprolol . I’ve been exercising a lot but still need to lose more weight . That is a constant battle 🥲. Really hope you get some help with controlling the AF and reducing your burden very soon . Regards . Amanda

Thanks Amanda. If it’s any comfort, I’ve managed to lose nearly a stone this year through careful diet and exercise, but it hasn’t done anything to improve my AF or my blood pressure🥲. Nice to have my clothes fit again though 👍

I know , I lost 3 stones 2 years ago and then had my worst ever AF episode ever . No excuse not to keep trying g though as being lighter obviously healthier xxx

It would have been fab to meet another member of the "ozzie" family, even if you don't spell our name correctly, but sadly I won't be there. 🤔

Hope the day exceeds your hopes.

Well my ‘Ossie’ is after the designer ‘Ossie Clarke ‘ , yours must be after ‘Ozzie Osborne ‘ !

Here’s my little Ossie

hi how do you get to know about this? I would love to go but this Sunday I am actually speaking at a menopause event!

It was advertised on this site and I got an ‘early bird ‘ ticket , meaning that the ticket was a little cheaper . Only £40 so I don’t think that’s bad as it includes lunch x
