Just wondering how people (all genders really) are affect when they have a cold virus? Do you noticeably feel your HR goes up, even if it's not in full blown AF?

Hi Jedi ,

With a fever I go straight into AF !

Hope this post doesn't mean you are feeling " ropey " ?

Had a bit of a temp the last few days, noticed HR going up a lot quicker than usual but not AF. Trying to keep hyrdated as much as possible. Baby (2 tomorrow) started nursery 3 weeks ago and has had 2 stinking snot-filled colds which I've been passed on!

Yes. I would normally go into AF if i catch the flu bug. Worse is we can’t take any antihistamines. So I would just weather it out by resting and drinking a lot of water.

Hi, I haven't had AF from a virus but I now ALWAYS avoid Sudafed when I have a heavy cold (aka ManFlu!). Sudafed and some other decongestants are a known trigger for AF for many people.

After quite a few AF free years I went into AF following a really nasty upper respiratory virus earlier this year so now I will be extra vigillant around people who are coughing and spluttering. X
