AF symptoms but not in AF?

Hi

Had my 2nd ablation 18 months ago and only had one blip about a year ago.

Today, i have felt unwell and had all the symptoms i usually feel when i have an AF attack, such as weeing a lot, feeling freezing cold, really tired but the heart has felt ok and the HB rate is in mid 60s when usually its high 50s, which doesnt seem to be an issue and every time i do an ECG check on my iwatch the beat looks fine and states not in AF.

Anyone know what this could be please?

mine was similar and I’d been working late not sleeping well and flight delayed 5 hours and left 3.30am. My HR was a lot higher but ecg said ok. My son who works in ED said it’s the lack of sleep we get a release of cortisol a stress hormone to keep us awake… a week later back to normal. Any chance you’ve had sleep issues or lack thereof?

No I’ve been sleeping fine but felt really tired and drained at the time. Feeling better today. Thank you for your response though

Hi

Check your BP.

I had some unusual symptoms so eventually I checked BP. BP wenr low 2 out of 4 checks. Reduced my Bisoprolol. Kept Diltiazem the same.

Yes, that was the problem.

Hi. Had exactly same sort of symptoms 12 months after my second ablation. Took along ECG s taken from my I phone which incidentally my cardiologist is in favour of. Had a 24 hr monitor fitted and turns out I had 9000 ectopics in 24 hrs. Quite satisfied HR all in order to My old Mate Anxiety again. Try as I can that’s my trigger so try not to look into things too much as it is very much a symptom aggressor. Keep smiling we are all in it together

It may not be AF but another arrhythmia. I thought AF came back after my ablation and it turned out to by SVT (superventricular tachycardia) instead. See your medical professional.

Without a medical device, it is hard to be sure of the heart rate if checked manually when it is erratic. In addition, frequent urination usually does not accompany a low heart rate. My advice was sound.
