Will do. My EP is friends with the inventor of the Kardia device.

Looks interesting, and not as expensive as I thought it would be.

Let us know your thoughts when you get one

When it is available in the UK will probably buy one,as I stupidly lost mine on a trip to clinic appointment! I find it useful to pinpoint AF occurrences for my EP as well as proving NSR. Look forward to hearing reviews, thank you for sharing this

You're welcome.

I would be interested to know in more detail what extra info a six lead provides. I once had a cardiologist who provided detailed analysis of my hospital recordings, mentioning the different leads. Unfortunately my new cardiologist gives as little info as possible 🙁

Reasonably priced - i would be interested in how useful you find it, too. Please do keep us posted.

Thanks for the heads up.

Should get it in a couple of weeks.

Looks like the communication with the smartphone is now via short range bluetooth which is good for up to 1m or so (I believe the original device used modulated ultrasonic audio which is very short range).

That may open up some new applications such as doing a 1 wire trace while using a treadmill - allowing AF sufferers to get a more reliable HR measurement as they exercise than most activity trackers allow (most get HR wrong in the presence of AF).

Would be great if they keep advancing the software also - continuous reading and correct analysis in the presence of LBBB are two enhancements I'd like to see as well as a mechanism to allow the raw data of a 30 seconds strip to be retrieved (not just the formatted PDF).

Do you have the current KardiaMobile? I'm interested in seeing how you compare the two.

I do have the current one. The 6 lead gives a more detailed analysis of your heart function for cardiologist or EP.

It is known as the Einthoven Triangle giving an ecg from 6 perspectives or leads.

More useful for cardiologists so I read.

Not what you're looking for?
