After phone consultation with EP at Glenfield all was great decided I needed a 2nd ablation I mentioned my Kardia device the previous day showed that I had wide QRS he asked me to send the pdf download of that which I did. He said yes it raises possibility of slow ventricular tachycardia. With some captured beats which supported likelihood of ventricular tachycardia very high. Suggested I needed anti arrhymics regularly so starting on flecanaide daily now not just pill in pocket.
I had a further reading showing AF which I also sent over he rang me saying they had a meeting with professor and team and examined my readings , but upon looking at this one he says I had non sustained ventricular tachycardia ideally he’d like me on beta blockers but I can’t risk them again due to my low blood pressure. Therefore he is listing me on the priority list for ablation for ventricular ectopic/non sustained ventricular tachycardia. He has informed me of the higher risk to life and or stroke as complication raises given the location of the foci
Went for annual pacemaker check this week pacemaker shows atrial flutter too!! But it didn’t record ventricular tachycardia as heart rate was below the parameters of the pacemaker settings. So I’m so pleased I got my 6 lead Kardia device it’s helped with diagnosis and is getting me the treatment needed.
My consultant was very impressed with the Kardia and is very happy for me to forward any further worrying ECG’s
