If so, what is your opinion of it compared with the 1-lead version and does it measure QTc interval? Just thinking ahead to probable remote consultation with my cardiologist.

Has anyone bought a 6-lead Kardia?
Hi Finvola, I just bought a 6 lead but no clue what extra it provides. I emailed my cardiologist which one to get and the message via his secretary didn't sound too enthusiastic about the added value of the 6 lead with words 'sometimes the extra information can be useful' but didn't expand on that. I have done one test run and I was reassured it said 'normal'. Would be interested to hear how you get on with it.
Hi. I bought a six lead Kardia recently on the advice of my GP. A couple of weeks later I had an appointment with my cardiologist. He was delighted I had a Kardia. He said they were excellent machines. When I told him it was a six lead he said don’t bother with that just send me a one lead trace when you have an AFib episode.
Thank you both. In the description of the 6L I could see only that it provides, for users, six traces with the same diagnostic capability as the 1 lead. There was no mention of longer duration traces either.
Your answers have helped enormously as my cardiologist may not be more enthusiastic with six traces on their own. The reason I enquired about QTc is my dose of Flecainide and the need to keep an eye there.
I have also emailed AliveCor with the above questions and will post any further info I get. Take care.
Yesterday I took my ECG with my son's Apple watch and sent it to my EP in advance of my remote consultation. I am seriously considering a Kardia purchase but I thought the 6 lead was better (more like the real thing.) Now I am not so sure.
I've just had an email from AliveCor to say that longer ECG's up to 5 minutes are also possible on the 6L but that there is no facility for measuring QT distance.
