Does anyone know of an antihistamine nasal spray to use in this hay fever season. My nose is like an open tap at times. I take Loratidine but that doesn’t stop the old nose.

Always best to check with your pharmacist Suzie. I use Beconase but it’s important to make sure sprays do not interact with your prescribed medication.....

This surprises me Flapjack.

I have always been told NO use of antihistamines !! Reason given,

Antihistamines dilate capillaries which, if you have AF , makes it worse.

This advice given by cardiologist years ago. I have put up with revolting frenetic sneezing and sore eyes all this time. I would love to hear if the rules have really changed.

That’s the reason why folk need to make their own checks which is what I did. I’m lucky in that I rarely use it, so far not used this year.

Hi SuzieA

I am using pollenase. Doctors adviced this one and said fine with AF.

The differnce in my hayfever is amazing.
