New to Xarelto

I started Xarelto yesterday as my anticoagulation clinic had requested that my GP change me from warfarin because I was needing a lot of antibiotics for chest infections, so I had the kidney function blood test and the results came back the APN said they were not very promising but I told her I had chronic kidney disease for quite a few years now. So I am starting a new episode, aprehensive, scared of the unknown but glad to be off INR blood tests and food no nos.

I have been on one of the new anticoagulant s since Nov 2018 with no problems( apixaban) hope all goes well.

I've been on Xarelto for 18 months. No problems so far!
